Prior
to founding Vision Marketing in 1997, Tom was the Assistant Athletic
Director for Marketing & Promotions at Michigan State University
Athletics and Marketing Director at Washington State University
Athletics. Tom’s personal philosophy of creating win-win relationships
has created a common platform for success in his endeavors. He is
a member of the Downtown Spokane Rotary Club, former chair of the program committee, former board member and current member of the youth services committee. Tom also volunteers each
year at Hoopfest, the world’s largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament.
Tom graduated with a business degree in finance from Montana State
University and holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration
from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Tom is married to
Karen and they have two daughters, Jessica and Katy, and live in
Spokane.
Prior
to joining Vision Marketing full time, 10 years ago, Karen worked in retail management
for Jordan Marsh-in Miami, Florida and The Bon Marche in Lewiston
and Moscow, Idaho. Increased sales and customer satisfaction have
followed Karen where ever she works. Karen also competed in volleyball
at the high school and college level, has successful high school
coaching experiences in Bozeman, MT and Garfield-Palouse, WA, was co-director/founder of the Sideout Volleyball Club and is a current executive board member of the Evergreen Region of USA Volleyball in Spokane.
Karen has been active in the Mead School district including serving as
PTO President, site council rep and various positions on district
level committees since 1995. Karen graduated with a BS in home economics (fashion
merchandising) from Montana State University and is married to Tom
- they have two daughters, Jessica and Katy.
Jessica joined Vision Marketing as the Golf Coordinator the summer of 2006. Her primary duties include working with the Vision Marketing owned golf properties; Toyota Series of Golf and the Spokane Golf Show. Jessica graduated from Mead High School in 2006. While at Mead she competed on the varsity track team four years and varsity volleyball for two state championships. Jessica is a sophomore at Washington State University majoring in Communications. She is a member of the WSU Chi Omega sorority and a Coug Gal with the WSU athletic foundation office.
